DRUMSTICK LEAVES DAL GRINDING RECIPE/MORINGA LEAVES DAL RECIPE/MURUNGA KIRAI RECIPE


Drumstick leaves also known as Moringa leaves it's also called in Tamil murungai keerai. The spinach contains more iron which helps in increasing the red blood cell and energy level of the body giving relief from tiredness and fatigue.This recipe I do three times a week and can make evening snacks using these spinach example drumstick leaves dough.


Drumstick leaves are used in various recipes like stir fry,dal,sambar, poriyal etc. Today I am making drumstick leaves with dal mixture gravy recipe let's see how to prepare for the recipe


Ingredients


Drumstick leaves - 4 handful

Toor dal - 100 gm

Tomato - 1

Garlic - 5 cloves

Green chilli - 3

Oil - 1 tbsp

Vadagam or mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Dry red chilli - 2

Salt per taste


How to prepare drumstick leaves dal grinding recipe?


  1. First take 4 cups of water in a pan and add the cleaned toor dal, green chillies, garlic, tomatoes chopped into four pieces and let it boil.

  2. While these are cooking, remove the drumstick leaves from the stalks and clean it.

  3. Then when the toor dal is well cooked add the drumstick leaves and turn off the stove after two to three minutes of adding the spinach. Don't overcook the drumstick leaves.

  4. When the spinach is cooked, pour it into another mud pot and then drain the water and add the required amount of salt and mix well. This mud pot is used for spinach mixers but nowadays prepared by using a mixer grinder but this recipe is made with a mud pot which gives a good taste if you don't have a mud pot otherwise using a mixture grinder.

  5. Now put the ingredients given for seasoning. First pour the oil in a frying pan and when the oil is hot add the Vadagam or mustard seeds and fry the mustard to add chopped red chili and pour the spinach grind well.

  6. Now we add the distilled water from the drumstick leaves. If the recipe needs to be watered we can add more water and mix all these together.

  7. Now it's ready for serve drumstick leaves dal mixture recipe.

Clean the Drumstick leaves



Now dal is cookwell



Add  drumstick leaves



After 3 to 4 minutes to pour the spinach in mud pot



To filter the excess water and add the salt grinding well



Now take the seasoning ingredients



Heat oil in pan are chopped red chilli and Vadagam or mustard seeds



Seasoning are pour in spinach and mix well



Next add Excess filter water and Mix well



Now ready to serve the drumstick leaves dal grinding recipe
